At Mattress Dogzzz, we believe in giving back to our community—and what better way to do it than by supporting our furry friends at Open Door Animal Sanctuary, Missouri’s largest no-kill shelter. Throughout the entire month of October, we’re excited to kick off our campaign!
### How You Can Help
From October 1st to 31st, we invite you to bring in donations of dog and cat food, beds, toys, as well as cleaning and office supplies for Open Door Animal Sanctuary. Every little bit helps our four-legged friends find loving homes and get the care they deserve. See a full supply list below

### Celebrate with Us at Our Trunk or Treat!
Mark your calendars for October 26th! We’re throwing a Trunk or Treat event from 11 AM to 2 PM, featuring ten local businesses and a special appearance by Open Door Animal Sanctuary for puppy adoptions! Bring the whole family for a day of fun, community, and adorable pups looking for their forever homes.
### Get Ready for a Costume Contest!
Dress up your furry friend for our Best Dog Costume Contest! The winner will receive a Pet Portrait sponsored by the talented Kaonis Thomas Fine Artist. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your pup’s personality while supporting a great cause!
### Shop Local, Make a Difference
While you're here, check out our selection of quality mattresses. A portion of all sales throughout October will go directly to Open Door Animal Sanctuary. So, not only can you sleep better, but you’ll also be helping animals in need!
